When disaster strikes Sky City and the town’s leaders can’t cope, their own house pets boldly rocket into action—as the Jet Pack Pets!

Our heroes, Princess, Rocky and Bix possess no super powers of any kind. What they do have is the absolute bond of loyalty that exists between every pet and its owner.

And what owners they are! Mayor Wigby, Fire Chief Pringle and Police Captain Swerdlow may be the most bumbling trio of civil servants to ever hold elected office!

 

 

Whether it’s a simple weenie roast or an all-out assault on the city by a deranged magician’s rabbit, the Jet Pack Pets’ owners can be counted on to make a mess of things.

Luckily, their beloved animal companions are always on hand to save the day, each equipped with a hi-tech jetpack built by the mysterious Professor Backfire. No matter how glaringly obvious it may be, Wigby, Pringle and Swerdlow don’t have the slightest suspicion that their simple little companions are actually the heroic Jet Pack Pets!

 

Created by Michael Stewart and Garry Black, the Jet Pack Pets debuted in Disney Adventures magazine in 2000 and quickly became one of the publication's top creator-owned comics properties, entertaining over 1 million readers every month, both in the United States and internationally, until Disney Adventures ceased publication in 2007.

In 2002 a Jet Pack Pets comic was featured in the Scholastic Weekly Reader.

In 2005, a collection of fan-favorite stories was assembled for a 144-page trade paperback published by SLG Publishing under their all-ages imprint Amaze Ink.

In April of 2014 the first of a series of new compilations became available through the Comixology digital comics service.

Jet Pack Pets comics contain action and adventure mixed with smart humor that appeals to kids 6-11. The Jet Pack Pets were designed with all media in mind, making them an ideal property for animation, books, merchandise and apps.
