Author’s Note: This story marks the shift to four-page and shorter stories for the Pets. Writing a funny, interesting story in this format was a big challenge and demanded a lot of storytelling discipline! My favorite part of this one is the presence of a kid version of my wife Barbara as one of the Pals.
